Oooo, Second Semester Begins

Well it looks like I haven't touched this thing in awhile. After the linear perspective projects, all Hell began to break loose and I really dug in to getting my portfolio finished.

Here's the final outcome:

My first design piece illustrating visual gestalt. A play off of our first design project.













My second design piece. We needed to have a color one and this one also had really good craft.
















My first drawing piece. A still life with attention to value. This is actually the first charcoal piece I've ever done. I was pretty surprised, haha!




My second drawing piece. A perspective requirement. I'd never done two point perspective before and my vanishing points were waaay of the page. It was weird, so I tried to throw in some atmospheric perspective too. It's my grandparent's house, they built it. Done in pencil. I love this piece so much, and I'm giving it to them next time I go home. And yes, I totally used a ruler. Lol.



I'm ecstatic to say that I've passed the review and I've been in Typography for two weeks now, but I'll put all that into a separate post. :D
