My severe lack of an attention span is going to make me hate the next two weeks.

Between my sketchbook and my class assignments, I'll be drawing somewhere around five, one-point perspective, organizational line drawings. I'm a little freaked because the one we did today in class is taking me forever, and I highly suspect I will be sick of these when I'm done. I spent the whole lab time plus 30 mins and still haven't finished blocking out all the shapes in my 2H. Here's what it looks like now:


Quite the masterpiece. Maybe if I weren't so insanely anal about drawings like this, it wouldn't be such a problem. There's a LOT of little shapes missing from this currently. I know it'll get better as it progresses, I just can't stand out-of-proportion cubes. O_O

I love my drawing class, but I will be SO happy when the mid-point portfolio review gets here.

Design One couldn't have been more cruel in regard to our current assignment. We had to make up words describing Obama and McCain, and use the words to make designs. I really hate politics. I'll vote, but I'll be damned if I have to discuss the business with anyone. You should see my thumbnails; they're a riot. The "connectivity" ones aren't too shabby, but when you're limited to asymmetrical or radial designs, it becomes trying to come up with anything for "traditional/conformity."
