I just finished the organizational line piece earlier today; I touched up the lighter lines with my 4B and 6B pencils - all my other work was done in class on Tuesday. I'm not super proud of this one. It turned out being a lot less painstaking than I had expected, but now that it's done, I can see obvious errors in the overall composition, especially pertaining to my angles and overall point of view. I'm curious to see what other students will have to put up during critique tomorrow.
I still need to my sketchbook portion of this assignment tonight. Here's to Bruce Hall Insomniac, which, by the way, is really crappy coffee, but it's free!

Last night I also worked on a sketch seeing as I'll have to turn in my sketchbook in a week or two for the mid-semester portfolio review for Drawing I. It took my about 40 minutes or so, I'm quite happy with it. I thought I'd be pretty horrible at hands, but this is a pretty good representation of my little hands! Ha.
Note to the wise: fixative is a must. For serious, all my old drawings from the one art class I took my senior year are ruined because the pages rubbed together. So far it's working fabulously, the hand has remained intact. ^_^
